Sam Yoon

I'm Sam, a full-stack software engineer with about 2 years of industry experience. During my time as a software engineer, I have contributed to component libraries (primarily using React and React Native), created various APIs in Node.js and Golang, and integrated with various third-party services. My interest in programming comes from my love of problem solving, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world! I enjoy collaboration on complex problems and being able to see different perspectives/approaches to solutions.

I have to admit, after these past couple of years, I have grown a preference for front-end development. However, I am always on the lookout for opportunities and challenges to grow my general skillset as a software engineer.

When not developing apps, I enjoy being in nature, landscape photography, competitive powerlifting, volunteering with GRID Alternatives, and spending quality time with my wife! I hope to connect with you soon!
